સુરત હાઈ સ્પીડ રેલ (એચએસઆર) સ્ટેશનની સાઇટની મુલાકાત દરમ્યાન તેમણે કહ્યું હતું કે ‘અમે ૨૦૨૬માં સુરત અને બીલીમોરા વચ્ચે પ્રથમ બુલેટ ટ્રેન દોડાવવાનો લક્ષ્યાંક ધરાવીએ છીએ. હાલમાં કામની પ્રગતિ ઘણી સારી છે અને નિર્દિષ્ટ સમયમાં પ્રોજેક્ટ પૂર્ણ થશે એવી અમને આશા છે.’

The Maharashtra government on Wednesday informed the Bombay High Court that it would not proceed with the process of delimitation of wards with respect to the cash-rich Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation till further hearing of a plea against the reduction of wards in the civic body.
